New 374,000 sq. ft. hospital with 240-inpatient psychiatric beds. UT Dell Medical School is the academic partner to Health and Human Services for the replacement of the aging Austin State Hospital. This is part of a major initiative by the State of Texas to invest in facilities across the state to provide improved mental healthcare.
