The Austin Business Journal referred to the Mueller Diamond Building as “in some ways an ode to bohemia with its unconventional zigs and zags.” The building is named for its unique diamond shape, and the a-typical structural design plays well in all facets. The nearly 40,000 sq. ft. spec office structure includes two levels of office space above ground-level retail. Datum performed framing value studies to compare concrete, steel, and wood construction options. The design of the one-of-a-kind upper levels features steel beams, glu-lam purlins, and a composite steel concrete floor.
